✅ Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) with an eligibility certificate from the Government of India.
Age Limit
- 19 to 25 years as on 01 January 2026. (Born not earlier than 02 Jan 2001 and not later than 01 Jan 2007).
Educational Qualification
- NCC Candidates: Graduation Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of ‘B’ Grade in the NCC ‘C’ Certificate Exam.
- Wards of Battle Casualties: Graduation Degree from a recognized university. NCC ‘C’ Certificate is NOT required.

📝 Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on bonus marks awarded for:
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate Performance: ‘A’ Grade (50 marks), ‘B’ Grade (25 marks).
- Graduation Percentage: Up to 85%+ (50 marks).
- SSB Interview: A 5-day process at Selection Centers (Allahabad, Bhopal, Bangalore, Jalandhar).
- Medical Examination: As per Army standards.
- Merit List: Final selection based on SSB performance.
💼 Training & Career
- Academy: Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
- Training Duration: 49 Weeks.
- Stipend during Training: ₹56,100 per month.
- Rank on Commission: Lieutenant.
- Starting Salary (CTC): Approximately ₹17-18 Lakhs per annum.
- Service Tenure: Initial 10 years, extendable up to 14 years. Option for Permanent Commission after 10 years.
