WBSSC Eligibility 2025
1. Clerk (Group C)
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed Madhyamik (10th) or its equivalent examination on or before the last date of application.
- Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 40 years
- Age relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 years
- OBC – 3 years
- PH – 8 years
2. Group D
- Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class VIII from any recognized Board or equivalent. (Bengali, English, Hindi, etc.)

- Results, merit lists, and panels will be published region-wise, category-wise, and medium-wise on the official site.
WBSSC Merit List and Panel Validity
- Final Merit List and Panels will be prepared based on performance in the written test, academic score (for Clerk), experience, and interview marks.
- Panel Validity: One year from the date of first counselling, extendable by six months with the State Government’s approval.
