✅ Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: No age limit for all categories (as a one-time measure per G.O.(Ms).No.443). However, candidates should not have completed 60 years on the notification date or at the time of appointment.
2. Educational Qualification (as on 27.10.2025)
Candidates must possess the following:
- Passed +2 (Higher Secondary) with Biology or Botany and Zoology.
- Passed Tamil Language as a subject at the SSLC level.
- Must possess one of the following certificates:
- Two-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) / Health Inspector / Sanitary Inspector Course Certificate from the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
- One-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) / Sanitary Inspector Course Certificate (from a Government recognized institution with an equivalent syllabus) is also eligible as a one-time measure.
3. Nationality
Must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Person of Indian Origin who has migrated with the intention of permanent settlement.

Important Note for Previous Applicants: Candidates who had applied and paid the fee under the withdrawn Notification No. 06/MRB/2023 (dated 11.07.2023) must apply again under this new notification. They do not need to pay the fee again but must furnish their previous payment details.
📚 Scheme of Examination & Selection
The selection process involves two stages:
1. Tamil Language Eligibility Test (SSLC Standard)
- Duration: 1 Hour
- Maximum Marks: 50
- Qualifying Marks: 40% for all categories.
- Purpose: Qualifying in nature. Marks are not counted for ranking.
- Exemption: Differently Abled Person (DAP) candidates are exempted.
2. Computer Based Test (CBT) – Subject Paper
- Duration: 2 Hours
- Maximum Marks: 100
- Question Type: Objective (Multiple Choice)
- Language: Bilingual (Tamil and English)
- Negative Marking: No
- Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- SCs, SCAs, STs: 30 marks
- Others: 35 marks
Final Merit Calculation
The final rank list will be prepared based on:
- Marks obtained in the CBT Subject Paper.
- Addition of COVID-19 Duty Incentive Marks (if applicable).
