Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), autonomous organizations under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, have announced a massive joint recruitment drive. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting this recruitment on their behalf for various Group A, B, & C Teaching and Non-Teaching posts.

👤 KVS and NVS Recruitment 2025 Age Limit & Relaxation (as on 04-12-2025)
- The candidate should have attained a minimum ofย 18 yearsย of age.
- The upper age limit varies by post (e.g., 30, 35, 40, 45, or 50 years).
Age Relaxation is applicable as per government rules:

📝 KVS and NVS Recruitment 2025 Selection Procedure
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
1. Tier-I: Preliminary Examination (Qualifying)
- Mode:ย OMR (Objective) Based.
- Duration:ย 2 Hours.
- Marks:ย 300 (100 questions, 3 marks each).
- Sections:ย General Reasoning, Numeric Ability, Basic Computer Literacy, General Knowledge, Language Competency Test (English), Language Competency Test (One Modern Indian Language*).
- Negative Marking:ย Yes, 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Medium:ย Bilingual (English & one of 12 Indian Languages*).
- Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-II in a ratio ofย 1:10ย (relative to vacancies).
2. Tier-II: Main Examination
- Mode:ย Combination of Pen-Paper and OMR.
- Duration:ย 2.5 Hours.
- Marks:ย 100 (60 Objective + 40 Descriptive).
- Syllabus:ย Subject Knowledge specific to the post applied for.
- Negative Marking:ย For the objective part, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
3. Final Stage
- For Posts like Principal, PGT, TGT, etc.:ย Interviewย (100 marks). Final Merit: 85% (Tier-II) + 15% (Interview).
- For Posts like Stenographer, JSA:ย Skill Testย (Qualifying). Final Merit based on Tier-II marks.
- For Posts like ASO, SSA, etc.:ย No Interview/Skill Test. Final Merit based on Tier-II marks only.
*Modern Indian Languages: Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu.
