Indian Army TES 55 Recruitment 2025 Eligibility
Nationality
- Candidate must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) with intent to settle permanently in India.
Educational Qualification
- Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) subjects.
- Minimum aggregate 60% marks in PCM.
- Must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2025 exam.
Age Limit
- Candidate must be 16½ to 19½ years old as of 1 July 2026.
- Must be born between 02 Jan 2007 and 01 Jan 2010 (both days inclusive).
- Only the Matriculation or equivalent certificate will be accepted for age proof.
Marital Status
- Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.
- Candidates getting married during training will be disqualified and must refund the training expenses.

Indian Army TES 55 Selection Process 2025
The TES 55 selection procedure consists of the following stages:
- Shortlisting of Applications – Based on JEE Mains 2025 scores and PCM percentage.
- SSB Interview – Conducted at selection centers in Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar.
- Medical Examination – Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a detailed medical test at a military hospital.
- Merit List – Prepared based on SSB performance only (academic marks are not considered).
- Joining Letter – Issued to medically fit candidates as per merit and availability of seats.
SSB Interview Dates:
Scheduled tentatively between February and March 2026.
Shortlisting Cut-off will be published in the third week of November 2025.

Degree Awarded:
Candidates will receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering upon successful completion of 4 years of training.
