Eligibility of Educational
Essential Qualifications:
- A Degree in Nursing OR a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (or equivalent).
- Must be registered with any State Nursing Council in India.
Important Notes:
- Qualifications must be obtained on or before 06th November 2025.
- Only qualifications acquired through regular, full-time courses (10+2+3/4 pattern) are accepted. Open University degrees/diplomas are not eligible.
Age Limit (as on 06-11-2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age for General/UR: 35 Years
Age Relaxation is applicable as per rules:
- MBC / OBC / EBC / BCM / BT: 3 Years
- SC / ST: 5 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years (over and above the category-based relaxation)
Nativity / Residence Requirement
Applicants must be natives of Puducherry UT OR must have continuously resided in Puducherry for the last 5 years immediately preceding 06.11.2025. Selected candidates must submit a fresh Nativity/Residence Certificate from a Deputy Tahsildar.
