- A Post Graduation Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) or equivalent in the respective discipline.
- For superspecialty departments: DM/MCh/DNB or equivalent.

- Hospital Administration: MD/MS/DNB in Hospital Administration or Master’s in Hospital Administration (full-time after MBBS).
- Transfusion Medicine: MD/DNB in Transfusion Medicine / Immunohematology & Blood Transfusion.
- Emergency Medicine & Trauma: MD/DNB in Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Anesthesiology, General Medicine, or Pediatrics.
