Eligibility
1. Nationality
A candidate must be either:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962, or
A person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries.
2. Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
Age Relaxation is applicable as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and other categories.
3. Educational Qualifications (as on 01.08.2025)
Generalists: Graduation/Post Graduation in any discipline with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Specialists: Discipline-specific qualifications are required. For example:
IT Specialists: B.E./B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in IT/Computer Science or MCA.
AO (Health): MBBS/MD/MS, BDS/MDS, BAMS/BHMS with valid registration.
Legal Specialists: Graduate/Postgraduate in Law.
For other streams, refer to the official notification.
Selection Process
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Online)
Mode: Online (Objective)
Sections: English Language (30 Q), Reasoning Ability (35 Q), Quantitative Aptitude (35 Q).
Duration: 60 minutes (20 minutes per section).
Total Marks: 100.
Phase-II: Main Examination (Online)
Mode: Online (Objective + Descriptive)
Objective Test: For Generalists & Specialists (200 marks). Sections include Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and a specialized technical section for specialists.
Descriptive Test: English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) for 30 marks.
Candidates must qualify in each section separately.
Phase-III: Interview
Candidates shortlisted from the Mains exam will be called for an interview.
The final selection will be based on the combined score of the Mains (Objective) exam (75% weightage) and the Interview (25% weightage).
