CTET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
CTET Level 1 (Class 1 to 5)
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR 45% marks with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE 2002 norms.
OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.El.Ed (4-year) course.
OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) .
CTET Level 2 (Class 6 to 8)
Bachelor’s Degree and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR Graduation with 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed .
OR Graduation with 45% marks in accordance with NCTE norms and passed or appearing in B.Ed .
OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.El.Ed (4-year) course.
OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed .
OR Bachelor Degree with 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed (Special Education) .
Candidates qualified in NCTE-recognized B.Ed programs are also eligible to appear.
