TRB Assistant Professor 2025: Eligibility Criteria 1. Age Limit (as on 01-07-2025)
Candidates should not have completed 57 years of age.
Age Relaxation: Candidates who had applied in response to the cancelled notifications of 2019 and 2024 will be given age relaxation.
2. Educational Qualification (as on the date of notification) Candidates must have:
A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a concerned/relevant subject from a recognized university.
A 5% relaxation is provided to SC, ST, MBC/DNC, BC, BCM, and Differently-Abled candidates.
Besides the above, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR, or SLET/SET .
Ph.D. holders are exempted from NET/SLET/SET, provided their Ph.D. degree is in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009/2016.
