Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality: Must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee (who came before Jan 1, 1962), or a Person of Indian Origin with a certificate of eligibility.
2. Age Limit (as of July 1, 2025):
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
3. Educational Qualification (as of Nov 23, 2025):
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
4. Experience (as of Nov 23, 2025):
- Minimum 1 year of post-qualification work experience in a Clerical or Officer Cadre in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank.
- Candidates with officer-level experience may be eligible for up to two advance increments.
5. Local Language Proficiency:
- Mandatory. Candidates must be proficient (read, write, speak) in the local language of the state they are applying for.
- Those who have not studied the local language in 10th or 12th standard must qualify in a Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT), which is qualifying in nature.
Pay Scale and Perks
- Scale of Pay: ₹48,480 – 2000/7 – 62,480 – 2340/2 – 67,160 – 2680/7 – 85,920
- Allowances: In addition to basic pay, you are entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), HRA/Leased Accommodation, Medical Insurance, LFC, and retirement benefits as per bank rules.

- Online Written Test: Objective type test with negative marking (1/4th mark deducted for wrong answers).
- Sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 40% for General/EWS, 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD in each section.
- Screening: Verification of application and documents.
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): For candidates who haven’t studied the local language in 10th/12th. Qualifying this test is mandatory for final selection.
- Personal Interview: Minimum qualifying marks are 50% for General/EWS/OBC and 45% for SC/ST.
Final Merit: Based on combined performance in Online Written Test and Interview, subject to qualifying in LLPT.
