The State Bank of India (SBI), India’s premier public sector bank, invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the appointment of Specialist Cadre Officers (SCO) on a regular basis. This recruitment drive aims to fill 59 vacancies for the roles of Manager and Deputy Manager specializing in Digital Platforms.

🎯 Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification (Mandatory for both posts):

Degree: B.E./B.Tech. in IT/Computers/Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics & Telecommunication OR

Post Graduation: Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
-
Minimum Marks: 60% from a recognized university/institution.

Preferable: Additional qualification like MBA/Executive MBA.
2. Preferred Certifications (Valid as on 31.08.2025):
Preference will be given to candidates holding certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, NPCI/RBI Payments certifications, CCIP, CISSP, PCI QSA, or CRCP.
3. Work Experience (Post-Qualification):

For Manager: Minimum 5 years of experience.

For Deputy Manager: Minimum 3 years of experience.

Relevant Field: Experience in Digital Payments, Automatic Fare Collection (AFC), FASTag, Digital Solutions, FinTech, Risk Management, or Customer Relationship Management.

Note: Teaching/Training experience is not considered.
💼 Job Profile & Key Responsibilities
Selected officers will be responsible for:

Driving SBI’s digital payments strategy and roadmap.

Managing stakeholders, projects, and partnerships.

Ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management.

Troubleshooting system issues and supervising helpdesk/CRM operations.

Analyzing business processes for improvement and innovation.
💰 Salary & Pay Scale
-
Manager (MMGS-III): Basic Pay Scale of ₹85,920-₹105,280 + allowances (DA, HRA, CCA, etc.) as per bank rules.

Deputy Manager (MMGS-II): Basic Pay Scale of ₹64,820-₹93,960 + allowances (DA, HRA, CCA, etc.) as per bank rules.
Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India at the bank’s discretion.

The selection will be based on:

Shortlisting: Based on qualifications and experience. Mere eligibility does not guarantee a call for an interview.

Interview: Carries 100 marks. The final merit list will be prepared based on interview performance.
