Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Field Assistant 2025
Educational Qualification
- Must possess National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in Electrician, Wireman, or Electrical Trade under the Centre of Excellence Scheme
- Note: Candidates without the required National Trade Certificate/Apprenticeship Certificate are not eligible, even if they hold higher qualifications
Age Limit (as on 1st July 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 32 years (General category)
- Age relaxation applicable as per government norms for SC/ST/OBC, Ex-servicemen, and persons with benchmark disabilities
Language Requirement
Candidates must possess adequate knowledge of Tamil, demonstrated by:
- Passing SSLC or equivalent with Tamil as a subject, OR
- Passing the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission’s Second Class Language Test
TNPSC Field Assistant Exam Pattern 2025
The examination will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) on 16th November 2025:
