A. Educational Qualification
Essential for Both DoE and NDMC:
- Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE.
- Must have passed Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or English as a subject at the Secondary (10th) level.
AND one of the following academic qualifications:
Step 1:
- Senior Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks AND
- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).
Step 2:
- Senior Secondary (12th) with at least 45% marks AND
- 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per NCTE 2002 norms.
Step 3:
- Senior Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks AND
- 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

- Senior Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks AND
- 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
